What is Dental Sleep Therapy?

Dental Sleep Therapy of Walla Walla focuses exclusively on airway management and sleep apnea. If you have been diagnosed by your physician with mild to moderate sleep apnea or are CPAP intolerant, a custom oral appliance may help you manage your sleep apnea.

Dr. Goyer is trained through clinicians affiliated with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and is a member of the AADSM, adhering to their guidelines and protocol for treating patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea.

As per AADSM protocols, Dr. Goyer works under the supervision of a sleep physician. You must first be diagnosed with sleep apnea through a physician interpreted, overnight sleep study. The sleep physician must prescribe use of an FDA approved Mandibular Advancement Device. Dr. Goyer works with area sleep physicians in this capacity.
